Shetland Viking Dance

This year the Shetland Society of Wellington is hosting a Shetland-Viking Dance Evening with ceilidh dance band Schiehallion.

$20 per person for an evening of NZ/Shetland-style old time ballroom and country dancing, with a light supper provided. We’ll have a caller for the country dancing – all the favourites – Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, Gay Gordons, Eightsome Reel etc. Plus old-time dances like Waltz, Maxina, Foxtrot, St
Bernards, Pride of Erin, Boston Two Step.
