The Red Dance

This dance is suitable for experienced dancers only. You need to be an independent dancer with the ability to dance an unfamiliar dance.

This dance may occasionally be walked once or twice as needed.

    1C nearer hands joined dance down the middle and cast up round 3C (2C step up 3-4); 1C turn LH finish BtoB in middle facing opposite sides as in Double Triangles

    9-16
    1C set to corners, 1C set on the spot pulling back RSh to finish again BtoB in the centre, 1L facing up and 1M facing down. 1C set again and ¾ turn person on their right to finish in 2nd place (1L facing down, 1M facing up) ready for….

    17-24
    …. ½ LSh reels of 3 on the sides and ½ RSh reels of 3 across (Lady down, man up each time) (3)(1)(2)

    25-32
    All turn partner RH, all chase clockwise ½ way round the set. 213
